 "FITNESS FOR THE CURE" Breast Cancer Open Day, Saturday 15th October

This will be our 6th Open Day dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Think Pink and the issue of breast cancer awareness. Come be part of a fun community-building event. You have a chance to sample all our great classes, meet our teachers and you will surely laugh and sweat all for a good cause. Proceeds for the day go to Think Pink Bahrain, which is raising money for a new state of the art MRI machine to help in the early detection of this deadly disease. Breast Cancer doesn't have to be fatal, with early detection lives can be saved. Let's do what we can to help. BD 10 for ladies and BD 5 for teens (girls). Supervised children's activities throughout the morning generously donated by Café Ceramique. Drop the kids in for face painting and ceramique painting while you enjoy the morning.  Think Pink Cans on Sale Now!  

Heads up for the Pink Cans! The Pink Cans campaign was initiated 4 years ago and since has raised over BD 11,000 in Bahrain. The Pink Cans and their contents, (those delicious and now famous chocolate covered dates) are a generous donation from Saudi Arabia Packaging Industry W.L.L. The sales drive is sponsored and administered by World Beat Fitness. These cans also signify an important reminder for all women to "check" themselves and to remind their loved-ones to do the same.You will find our Pink Cans on sale in various retail outlets, events and venues throughout Bahrain during the month of October. These not-at-all-ordinary dates are covered with delicious chocolate and filled with almonds. They are a delightful gift for yourself, family and friends. Buy one; buy many - 100% of the funds raised from the can sales will go to Think Pink's education fund. To date, two nurses have been trained in lymphedema treatment and other breast cancer specific health treatments.
